Lucknow: Encounter of criminals in UP is continuing. Now, in Ghaziabad, bordering the national capital, police have accounted for 2 miscreants. Two miscreants were shot in the counter. In addition, a sub-inspector has also been injured by the bullet of the miscreants. The miscreants have been identified as Satinder alias Satte and Naren alias Yogi.

According to police, the incident took place in Thana Tonika City area of Ghaziabad. The encounter took place when the police were conducting a checking operation.  The police reportedly asked the miscreants to stop while checking the vehicle, but the miscreants opened fire on the police team instead of stopping. One sub-inspector was shot and wounded.

The police retaliated and opened fire on the miscreants. The two miscreants were shot in the leg and were injured. The name of the injured sub-inspector is Rajendra Sidhu. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Earlier, the Special Task Force (STF) at Meerapur in Muzaffarnagar had recently dumped a bounty of Rs 1 lakh in an accountant. The identity of the slain offender has been as order. Police also found a bike and a homegrown pistol from him.
