Two crore held from DMK candidate, son's house

May 11, 2016 : From the DMK candidate’s residence and other premises ,a total of Rs. 2crore was held today and his son at Karur, as per the senior electoral officer.
“Further, the Income Tax experts, mended the money from the residence and other premises of Aravakurichi DMK candidate KC Palanichamy and his son KCP Shivaraman at Karur, “the officer said.
As per the officer said, “IT authorities had carried out the 'raids' on receiving information and a probe was on to ascertain the nature of the money seized”
IT and electoral officials have been leading searches at many places in the state to check inflow of illegal cash.
