A woman was beaten to death in Palghar, Maharashtra, in a dispute over WhatsApp status. In fact, a woman named Lilavati was killed by some persons in a dispute over WhatsApp status in Shivajian Nagar area of Boisar.

According to the report, on the night of February 10, she was brutally assaulted by some persons at Lilavati's house, in which she was seriously injured. The woman was admitted to Tunga Hospital for treatment, where she has gone to go due to treatment. It is being said that Preeti Prasad, the daughter of the deceased woman, had a fight in college with a neighbour's friend a few days ago over keeping WhatsApp status on the phone. 

The dispute over the WhatsApp status came from the college to her house and the dispute escalated. Subsequently, six members of the same family together thrashed Iqbal Prasad's daughter and his wife Lilavati Devi. Due to the treatment, Lilavati Devi lost her life, which has created an uproar in the entire area. At the same time, the family of the deceased woman is pleading for justice. The case is now being investigated by the police.
