Chandigarh: Coronavirus, which has killed people due to its outbreak and infection, is increasing more rapidly now, so thousands of people are getting infected due to the virus every day. At the same time, the death toll is increasing day by day, after which the human aspect is now getting even more difficult. The process of sampling of those who come in contact with Corona infected ASI has been speeded up. During the duty, the courts of Kapurthala and Bhulattha used to take the infected ASI accused on trial. Due to this, District and Sessions Judge Kapurthala has issued orders for precautionary home quarantine to 14 employees and lawyers, including two judges.

According to information received from the sources, more than 50 police and court related people have been collected from the Health Department who have contact with ASI. These include many policemen including SHO of Thana Begowal. ASI was found infected by Dasuha resident of Hoshiarpur stationed at Begowal police station in Kapurthala. After this, District and Sessions Judge Kapurthala Kishore Kumar issued a written order on Friday asking all the staff and lawyers of the courts of Additional Sessions Judge and Bhulath Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate to be a precautionary home quarantine. In these courts, the ASI had taken the accused to court on May 28 for curfew violations and other cases.

According to Civil Surgeon Dr. Jasmeet Bawa, the team of Health Department Kapurthala has sent samples of more than 50 police, court and other people coming in contact with ASI. According to DSP Bhulath Jatinderjeet Singh, SHO is fine. While nine policemen have been isolated in the Bhulath Civil Hospital. The rest has been quarantined in the police station itself.
