Shimla: Corona has created a crisis situation in the entire country. Meanwhile, two more new cases of COVID-19 have come up in Shimla district of Uttarakhand on Tuesday morning. The wife and daughter of a businessman from Lower Market in the district have been found to be COVID-19 positive. Both returned from Delhi last week and were home quarantined at their home in Jakhu. SDM Shimla Urban Manjeet Sharma has given this information.
SDM Manjit Sharma said in his statement that the houses and buildings of the infected have been sealed. After the report of the wife and daughter of the businessman came positive, there has also been a stir among the traders of the lower market. The infected patients have been admitted to the DDU Hospital. The figure of COVID-19 infected in the state has reached 2279. There are 1034 active cases. The number of infected people who have been cured so far has reached 1216. So far, 12 have died from COVID-19, and 15 patients have gone outside the state.
By July 27, a total of 1 crore 73 lakh 34 thousand 885 samples have been tested across the country. A record 5 lakh 28 thousand 82 samples have been tested during the last 24 hours. Earlier, 5,15 lakh samples were tested on Sunday, 4.42 lakh on Saturday, and 4.20 lakh samples were tested on Friday a day before that. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that efforts are being made to increase the test capacity in the country to 10 lakh per day.
