Compared to other states of India, the number of corona infections in Chhattisgarh has reduced considerably. Due to good health facilities, most of the infected have recovered and gone back to their homes. Today, two more patients have been discharged from AIIMS Hospital in Raipur. 37 cases of corona have been reported so far in Chhattisgarh, out of which 34 people have been cured. Only three patients are being treated in the hospital.

Amid the outbreak of the virus, the team of Raipur-based All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS) took charge in view of the increasing cases of corona in the state. The team developed its own treatment module. The corona infection in India is spread due to people travelling from abroad. People were not giving any information about their travel history by themselves. The state government immediately developed a tracking system through which the government got complete information about the people travelling from abroad. During this time, people coming from some other countries including China, Russia, Mauritius were found in the travel history.
