Amidst the Corona crisis, the number of victims from Corona in Punjab has increased to 246 on Monday. So far 16 people have died due to the epidemic. According to the Health Department, a new positive case came up in Jalandhar on Monday, which increased the number of corona victims to 48 in this district. A person was also found corona positive in Naya village of Mohali district. The number of victims in this district increased to 62.

According to district-wise data received from the Health Department regarding this matter, Mohali district remains the main hotspot with 62 patients. So far two patients have died and 8 patients have been cured in this district. Of the 48 patients in Jalandhar district, 2 died and 4 were cured. In Patiala, one patient has recovered from 26 patients. One of the 24 patients of Pathankot has died, while one of the 19 patients of Nawanshahar has died and 17 patients have been cured. In Ludhiana, 4 out of 16 patients died and 1 was cured.

Treatment of 4 patients is underway in Moga. One of the 3 patients of Faridkot has been cured, while one of the 3 patients of Ropar has died. In Sangrur, 3 patients are being treated. One of Barnala's 2 patients died and the other has been cured. Treatment of 2-2 patients is going on in Fatehgarh Sahib and Kapurthala and one corona patient is being treated in Gurdaspur, Muktsar and Ferozpur.
