Jaipur: Radicals Mohammad Riaz and Gaus Mohammad, who barged into a shop in Rajasthan's Udaipur on June 28, 2022, and brutally killed tailor Kanhaiyalal, are now yearning to meet their families. Riyaz has been constantly asking the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials whether no one from his family came to meet him. Riyaz cried and said that he wanted to meet his wife once.

According to media reports, on September 16, 2022, for the first time, the NIA team reached Udaipur to take the two murderers. He was brought to Bhupalpura police station late at night amid tight security. Officials at the police station asked Riyaz and Gaus several questions related to the Pakistan connection and PFI organisation, including WhatsApp. After a 96-hour-long interrogation, on September 20, 2022, the NIA team shifted the two murderers from Jaipur to Ajmer's high-security jail. Here both the fundamentalists are kept in separate barracks.

During this, Riyaz cried a lot in front of the NIA officers and pleaded with them that he should be reunited with his wife once. He said that why no family member came to meet him in jail till now. Does he not have the right to meet his relatives even once? Let us inform you that out of the 9 accused arrested in Kanhaiyalal's murder case, only the relatives of Gaus Mohammad have come to meet him, the rest of the family members did not come to meet him.
