Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has once again targeted NCB. In fact, recently Uddhav Thackeray made a statement on NCB. In this statement, he said, "Maharashtra Police caught heroin (drugs) and not heroines, so they did not get publicity.'' In fact, the Maharashtra Police has recently seized drugs worth Rs. 25 crores. Uddhav's statement was made at the inauguration of state-of-the-art forensic labs in Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur.

He made the statement on the day actress Ananya Panday has also been questioned in a drugs case involving Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. In his statement, Uddhav said, "The only thing that is happening these days is drugs, drugs and drugs. Even during the Dussehra rally, I had said that a picture is being created that drugs are consumed all over the world in Maharashtra and only a special team (NCB) can catch it. But that is not the case.'' He further said, "Our Mumbai, Maharashtra Police seized drugs worth Rs 25 crore four days ago. He caught 'heroin' and not 'heroine'. So, they did not get publicity. But they made us feel proud. Even nobody knows their name.''

At the same time, Uddhav also said, "We should respect them. The Maharashtra Police Force is strong, efficient and we show no leniency towards the criminals and we deal firmly with them. This reputation is being deliberately maligned by some people.''
