Moscow: British diplomats working in Russia will now be required to notify authorities of their travel plans in advance, according to a statement from Moscow on Thursday.
The foreign ministry of Russia announced that it had called Tom Dodd, the charge d'affaires for Britain, to inform him of a "notification procedure for the movement of employees of British diplomatic missions on the territory of our country."
In a statement, it was stated that the actions were in retaliation for London's "hostile actions" and British actions "hindering the normal operation of Russian foreign mission in the UK." London is a crucial ally of Ukraine.
