KIEV, Ukraine – Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Mykhailo Podolyak has said that reaching a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia will take between a few days and a week and a half, as reported in Liga.net, a Ukrainian online news site.
Podolyak, who is also a member of the Ukrainian delegation to the peace talks with Russia, Kiev wants to define in detail a specific plan for the withdrawal of Russian soldiers from Ukraine in the peace pact. If the agreement is signed, it will allow Ukraine and Russia to stop the acute phase of the conflict.
Podolyak said on Wednesday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin may meet in the coming days.
Meanehilw Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he held a telephone talking with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss France's support for Ukraine. He said, during the talks, a special emphasis was put on the carrying on of peaceful dialogue aimed at ending the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
