Kyiv: The fierce war between Ukraine and Russia continues. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to the people of the country to take up arms and defend their soil. He released the video saying she was in Ukraine and fighting to protect the people. Amid the president's appeal, many other citizens and leaders in Ukraine have also taken up arms to take on Russia. Meanwhile, pictures of Ukrainian woman MP Kira Rudik are fast going viral on social media, in which she is seen standing holding a gun.

MP Keira Rudik posted pictures of her holding a weapon on social media. After the photo went viral, the MP tweeted that she knows how to use a Kalashnikov rifle. It sounds very real because a few days ago it never came to my mind. Just like the men of Ukraine, the women of the country will also protect the soil here. The Russian army has entered the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. Meanwhile, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has taken over the responsibility of self-defence. In Kyiv, the president himself is giving instructions to the military. But in the meantime, a large number of Ukrainian nationals are fleeing the country.

Late on Friday, Ukraine's President Zelensky released a video saying that "we are here." We are in Kyiv. We are defending Ukraine." Earlier in another video, the president said, "I am in Ukraine. My family is in Ukraine. My children are in Ukraine. They're not traitors. They are citizens of Ukraine. We have received information that I am on Russia's first target and my family is on the second target."
