Along with Hanuman ji, idols of Lord Shree Ram, Mata Sita, Lakshmana and Shiva-Parvati are also installed in the temple. According to legends, if a person comes to the temple continuously for three or five Tuesdays to have darshan of Bajrangbali ji, all his troubles go away. Along with this all his wishes are also fulfilled. There is also a belief of offering chola to Hanumanji on Tuesdays. The idol of Hanuman ji located in the temple is considered very miraculous.

In the Ramayana period, there was a war between Lord Rama and Ravana, then Ahiravana played a trick and changed his form and joined Rama's army. After this, at night when everyone was sleeping, Ahiravana kidnapped Shri Ram and Lakshman ji by making them unconscious with his power. He took them with him to Patal Lok and when the monkey army came to know about this, there was a stir all around.
