Ahmedabad: Fast bowler Umesh Yadav has been included in Team India for the last two Test matches of the series against England on Monday after passing the fitness test. While Shardul Thakur was released to play in Vijay Hazare's One Day Championship. The third Test between India vs England will be played at Motera from Wednesday. It will be a day-night test.

On the fitness of Umesh Yadav, the BCCI issued a statement said, 'Team India fast bowler Umesh Yadav appeared for a fitness test in Motera on Sunday, 21 February. He has passed his fitness test and has been included in the squad for the final two Tests of the ongoing India-England Test series." The BCCI statement also said that Shardul Thakur was asked to compete in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Thakur plays for Mumbai". Yadav suffered a thigh muscle injury during the Melbourne Test against Australia in December, due to which he was ruled out for the rest of the series. India can enter the pink ball Test with three pacers.
