The accident took place on Saturday morning on the road going to Hoshiarpur in the Phagwara sub-division under Kapurthala in Punjab. A car coming to Phagwara from Hoshiarpur collided with a tree near the petrol pump. Two youths died on the spot in the accident. The condition of two other youths in the car is said to be critical, they have been admitted to civil hospital Phagwara. The youth who died in the accident has been identified as Patti Ramdasian (Ballo) Bathinda, a resident of Dharminder. One of the deceased is yet to be identified. The injured have been identified as Gagan and Gursewak.

Not only this, the four young men in the car that met with an accident on Hoshiarpur Road are also doing professional photography work. It is learned that the four were returning from a function. The young man driving the car suddenly fell asleep while driving, due to which the accident took place. Eyewitnesses said the car was at high speed and hit the tree very dangerously.

The four youths are said to be residents of Bathinda and Barnala. The car was completely shattered after hitting the tree at high speed. The youths in the car were trapped in the car. They were pulled out of the car by locals and motorists after a lot of hard work.
