Since Digital India gained momentum in the country, a lot of things have become easier in India. Through some food apps, a person can order food for himself in just a few minutes and order food without any effort, but there are many complaints about it that need to be implemented. Something similar happened to National Award winning actor Prasannajit Chatterjee. He took the matter seriously and appealed to the PM.

Noted Bengali Movies actor Prasannajit Chatterjee on Twitter on Saturday drew the attention of PM Narendra Modi and CM Mamata Banerjee to the "urgent" issue of not delivering food through online food app Swiggy and said the matter should be discussed. In an open letter, Chatterjee complained that he did not even get food while the order status changed to 'delivered'. The National Award winner actor however clarified that the money returned to his account.

His tweet immediately evoked mixed reactions, with some mocking him for an open letter while others came out in support. Some Twitter users joked that it is an "international" issue that needs to be addressed. Chatterjee said in his letter, 'If someone is dependent on the app to arrange food for their guests and their food never reaches? What if someone depends on these apps for their food? Will they starve? I felt it was necessary to talk about it. ’
