Lucknow: Union Minister Anurag Thakur didn't hold back in criticizing INDIA bloc leaders, accusing them of aligning with the 'tukde tukde gang' who aim to divide India and even cheering for pro-Pakistan slogans in their victory celebrations. Thakur, a senior BJP leader, questioned the sudden surge in divisive politics as the Lok Sabha elections draw near.

His remarks come in the wake of allegations by the Karnataka BJP that 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans were raised outside the Vidhan Soudha by supporters of a winning Congress candidate. Thakur, speaking to media during a visit to Hamirpur, condemned these actions, stating they insulted Sanatan Dharma.

Thakur highlighted instances where the Congress and its allies allegedly demeaned Sanatan Dharma, Hindus, and Lord Ram, while also supporting divisive elements like the 'tukde tukde gang'. He reiterated the BJP's demand for the resignation of the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government over the incident at Vidhana Soudha.

Taking a swipe at RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Thakur criticized his remarks during the 'Jan Vishwas Maha Rally' in Patna, accusing him of crossing limits by making anti-India, anti-Sanatan, and anti-Ram statements.

Thakur then turned his attention to the Congress, questioning their stance on the comments made by their INDIA bloc partners regarding Sanatan Dharma. He pressed the Congress on whether they endorse the views expressed by leaders like A Raja and the DMK, and whether they condone pro-Pakistan slogans raised by Congress leaders.

During his visit, Thakur also held discussions with state BJP leaders, as preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections gain momentum, expected to be held in April-May.
