Bangalore: In the Karnataka Assembly, the Congress opposed the Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP government in a very unique way. During the budget session of 2023-24, today i.e. on Friday (February 17), all the Congress leaders reached the assembly with flowers in their ears. Opposition leaders claim that this is part of their '#KiviMeleHoova' campaign, through which there is an attempt to show that the Bommai government did not fulfill its previous promise and made people 'fools'.

At the same time, as soon as CM Basavaraj Bommai stood up to present the budget in the assembly, all Congress leaders including former CM Siddaramaiah started shouting slogans. Siddaramaiah said that he has planted flowers in the ears to warn the public that how the government's another budget is a budget to deceive the people. He claimed that the government will once again not fulfill its promises. However, despite all the protests and uproar, CM Bommai started reading the budget paper and the Congress leaders kept shouting slogans. Let us tell you that the Karnataka Congress has been trying to corner the BJP for the past several days. Congress alleges that there is corruption in all the departments in the state.

For this, the Karnataka Congress had also started a QR code campaign, where QR codes containing the posters of Chief Minister Bommai were placed on the streets of Bengaluru, on which 'PayCM' was written. A link to a website was also given along with the QR code, where Congress claimed to have corruption statistics.
