Jaipur: In view of the damage done to the environment due to immersion of idol on Ganesh Chaturthi, PM Modi has urged people to make a clay statue of Ganesh Lord. The idol artists of Jaipur are taking this campaign forward. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Shri Ganesh will be established in various colonies of the city on Monday along with pandals. This time during Ganesh Chaturthi, the obstacles will bring happiness and prosperity with greenery and will make the house happy as well as fill life with energetic energy.
It is worth mentioning that on the occasion of Ganeshotsav and Durga Puja every year, lakhs of idols are immersed in rivers, ponds or other water bodies. This causes massive pollution and their water is not usable. For this reason, these days, idol artists at JLN Marg, Gopalpura and Shyam Nagar and other places are engaged in the construction of such idols that do not harm the environment.
This time, statues are being prepared for Ganesh Chaturthi by putting the seeds of different species in the soil along with the eco friendly statue. Giving information, Shyam Nagar based artist Harinarayan Prajapati has told that these idols can be immersed in a pot in the house in about two liters of water, which will take the form of a seed plant in a few days.
