China: A unique village which is not settled on the earth. Rather, this unique village is located on the sea in China. There are about 7,000 fishermen living in this village. Locals address them as tanka. This marine fishermen's village is swimming near the town of Ningde in Fujian province of Southeast China. Tanka is also known as "Gypsy on the Sea".

Kept away from the modern lifestyle - China was ruled by the Tang Dynasty in 700 AD. Then the rulers tortured the people of this tribe so much that they decided to stay on the sea. This series continues unabated. Since then, they came to be called "Gypsies on the Sea". Tanka never adopted the modern lifestyle.

Tanka, who have been living for 1300 years, are spent in water houses and hunting of fish. In the pictures, you can see how the people of Tanka built not only a floating house, but also large platforms of wood. More than 1300 years have passed, even today Tanka is living in traditional houses with his families.
