The Tis Hazari court of Delhi has given its verdict on Wednesday in the case of the death of the father of the Unnao gang-rape victim in police custody. The court convicted 7 people, including former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of Unnao district, while acquitting 4 people in this case. The court will sentence the 7 guilties in this case on March 12.

The case of the death of the father of the rape victim in police custody is of April 9, 2018. The family had alleged that Kuldeep Singh, the then MLA, arrested his father first and then got him murdered on the strength of Rasukh. Former Uttar Pradesh MLA Kuldeep Singh, who is serving life imprisonment on charges of raping a Nalabig girl, has got more trouble, as the former MLA has already been sentenced to life imprisonment. The Delhi court has sentenced him to life imprisonment in the rape case. On December 20, the court sentenced the minor girl to life imprisonment in the rape case, after which her legislature also left.
