Lucknow: Election campaign seems to be intensifying before voting on three seats in Uttar Pradesh. In fact, there is a direct contest between the BJP and the Samajwadi Party on all these three seats. In such a situation, both parties are seen campaigning tempestuously. However, amidst all this, on Wednesday, CM Yogi Adityanath addressed a public meeting in Meerut. During this, he said, "The BJP government of double engine will not allow any kind of anarchy and hooliganism to flourish. Whoever understands in which language, will be explained in that language. Development for all, security for all, but appeasement of none."
In fact, CM Yogi accused the exodus during the SP government in Kerana and Kangla, saying, "Earlier goons used to come and collect money, kill passers-by while walking and sisters and daughters could not go to school. But today it has been closed. Traders who fled have come back. But the duo of SP and RLD is again conspiring."
With this, the Chief Minister, referring to the development works, said, "Five years ago, it used to take three-four hours to cover the distance from Meerut to Delhi. But now the 12-lane expressway will cover the distance of Delhi-Meerut in only 45 minutes. Similarly, efforts are being made to lessen the distance from Meerut to Bulandshahr, Meerut to Baghpat."
He further said, "The country's first rapid rail is being built between Delhi-Meerut, for this, I congratulate the residents of Meerut in advance. Meerut is going to be recognized as the first sports university in the state. So far, 45 lakh poor families have been provided one house each in rural and urban areas. Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, interest-free loans have been arranged for street vendors, hawkers, and retailers. Nine lakh street vendors have been benefitted so far."
