Lucknow: State Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu, Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra Mona, Congress Legislative Council Party Leader Deepak Singh and other MLA and office bearers demand national level leadership change in the Congress Party in Uttar Pradesh. They all issued a joint press statement in which they said that this is the time to stand with Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
They said that some leaders have written a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. In this, they have claimed to be the representative of the workers' emotions. But these people are cut off from the party and they are the ones who have benefited the party the most. It is said in the joint statement that this is the time to fight with the values of the Constitution.
On the other hand, there is a steady increase in corona cases in the state. Also, five months have passed since the first corona case was reported. In Kanpur, death has increased. The first one-day public curfew was held in the country on March 24 to beat Corona. After this, a lockdown was imposed in the country on 25 March. However, the weekly lockdown continues with this process. People are quite relieved by this unlock which is done in a phased manner.
