Meerut: In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the largest state of the country, arrived in Muralipur village of Kankarkheda police station area to raid, the police beat up an advocate. After this, the case caught on. After a day-long uproar on Friday, the SSP suspended the inspector in the evening. Jitendra Kumar, in-charge of the Yogipuram outpost of the same Kankarkheda police station, arrived at Muralipur village around 11 pm on Thursday to find a criminal.
If the same criminal escaped from the spot, then the outpost in-charge took away his 15-year-old son present in the house. Advocate Ghaffar, who lives in the neighborhood, objected to the child being taken, so the officer Jitendra Kumar was outraged. Nozzle started between the inspector and advocate. There was a commotion on seeing this. It is alleged that the inspector while showing uniformity, started abusing, and assaulting the advocate.
Even after the protest of the family, the outpost in-charge kept Advocate Ghaffar in the car, and also beaten the police post and then in the lockup of the police station. The advocate has suffered a serious hand injury. On the information, Inspector Bijendra Rana reached the police station and taught the post of discipline to the outpost in-charge. In the night itself, the injured advocate was given first aid and sent home for the delivery of family members. The case is now being investigated. The SSP has suspended the inspector.
