Lucknow: In the country's largest state UP, the process of leaders switching from one party to another is continuing and today many leaders of allies of Bharatiya Janata Party have joined the SP. Party President Akhilesh Yadav today inducted Dara Singh Chauhan, Yogesh Chauhan, Brijbhan Chauhan, who were cabinet ministers in the Yogi government. With this, the SP has made a dent in the Apna Dal, an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Apna Dal MLA RK Verma took the membership of SP today.

At the same time, two cabinet ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party government have joined the SP. Two days ago, Swami Prasad Maurya and Dharam Singh Saini, who were cabinet ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, had joined the SP. Whereas today Dara Singh Chauhan, who was a cabinet minister in the Yogi government, has also gone to SP. Dara Singh has accused the state government that today his supporters have been stopped in Lucknow and he said that all the leaders of Chauhan society have joined the SP today.

At the same time, the discussion about Aparna Yadav, the younger daughter-in-law of SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, joining the Bharatiya Janata Party is in full swing. However, no statement has come from Aparna Yadav's side so far. But there is a discussion that the Bharatiya Janata Party can give her a ticket from the Cantt seat of Lucknow. Whereas in the 2017 assembly elections, Aparna contested from Cantt seat and was defeated by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi.
