Lucknow: BSP chief Mayawati, who won only one seat in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, has suffered a crushing defeat. Yes, and now Mayawati has blamed the SP's disinformation for her defeat. Recently in Lucknow, Mayawati said, "If the BSP had got Muslim and Dalit votes, the BJP would have lost.'' She also said, "This election is like a lesson for us. There was disinformation against the BSP. I would like to tell the supporters of the BSP that you have to not give up and stay engaged. Babasaheb's followers can never give up. I'd like to say that the bad times are about to end. We tried with our full strength and even after that this result has come, then what can be worse than that.''

At the same time, Mayawati clearly admitted during this time that the BSP's Dalit vote was largely transferred to the BJP and due to this, it got a big victory. In fact, Mayawati said, "This time in the election, the Muslim vote was seen to go unilaterally towards the SP. In such a situation, a large number of people from the Hindu community, except my own society, voted for the BJP so that the SP's goons rein could not come.'' Apart from this, she compared this defeat of the BSP to the condition of Congress in 1977. In fact, she said that in such a time, we should strive for the future instead of being desperate. We have to work on remembering Babasaheb's life struggle. During this time, she also blamed the SP for the defeat, which described them as the B team of the BJP.

Mayawati said, "I thank all the small and big office bearers and people of the BSP, who have worked with all their dynamism.'' Apart from this, Mayawati admitted that the BSP's graph has fallen and it is a matter of concern for us. Most interestingly, Mayawati too has admitted that the base of the non-Jatav Dalit votes has shifted from the BSP and a large part of it has gone to the BJP camp. That is why she openly said that "apart from my own society, the votes of other castes of Hindu society were transferred to the BJP for fear of SP goons."
