Lucknow: To woo the voters of the state in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, BJP can make big election announcements like giving free electricity and giving exemption in payment of electricity arrears. Sources have informed on Saturday that the BJP High Command has prepared to give big relief to electricity consumers in its manifesto in response to the election promise of providing 300 units of electricity free by the Samajwadi Party (SP). Let us tell you that the BJP is going to release its resolution letter on February 6.

State CM Yogi Adityanath had told in Gorakhpur on Friday that the BJP would issue an action plan for public interest and development works for the next five years in the name of Sankalp Patra on Sunday. According to sources, in the resolution letter, BJP can make a big announcement to give relief to the electricity consumers. In this, apart from giving free electricity up to a certain limit on the lines of SP's 300 units of free electricity, the announcement of giving relief to the farmers in the outstanding electricity bill can also be included.

Let us inform that in addition to providing 300 units of free electricity in urban areas, if the government is formed after the elections, SP has promised to provide free electricity to the farmers for irrigation. Before the assembly elections in West Bengal, the BJP had made an election promise to provide 200 units of electricity free to the domestic consumers of the state. Now BJP is preparing to include this promise in the resolution letter in UP with some changes. Along with this, BJP can also announce to give exemption in the outstanding electricity bill in Uttar Pradesh.
