Bulandshahr: A girl burnt alive in Bulandshahr in the country's largest state UP died during treatment. He was undergoing treatment at a Hospital in Delhi. Yesterday, on the pretext of water, the dabangg neighbour called home and set the victim on fire by pouring petrol on her. Meanwhile, Bulandshahr police claim that the culprit, who was angry with his elder brother for having an affair, had committed the crime. Khurja Kotwali in-charge Dixit Kumar Tyagi confirmed the death of the girl on mobile. The incident was carried out at Mundakheda village in Khurja Nagar Kotwali area yesterday.

The woman's family members say that the domineering man had called to pour dung into the house, after which he heard the girl's screams and all of them ran but by then the criminal had fled. Police reached the spot and started an investigation and admitted the injured woman to the hospital in a critical condition.

When the same police admitted the girl, she suffered 30-40 per cent burns. Police had said that the woman had an affair with a boy in her neighbourhood, her younger brother was upset with the love affair and he was repeatedly obstructing and protesting in the love affair between the two, today he called the woman on some pretext and sprayed petrol and set her on fire.
