Unnao: BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar's assembly membership in the Unnao rape case has been terminated a few days ago. He is no longer an MLA. In this case, the principal secretary of the assembly, Pradip Kumar Dubey, has issued a notification. At the same time, it is being said that Sengar has been convicted in the famous Unnao rape case of Uttar Pradesh. According to the notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, Kuldeep Singh Sengar will not be considered a member of the UP Legislative Assembly from December 20, 2019. With this, the Bangarmau assembly is vacant from 20 December 2019.


It has been learned that it has been said in the notification that Kuldeep Singh Sengar has been elected from the Bangarmau assembly in Unnao district. On 20 December 2019, a Delhi court convicted him in the Unnao rape case and sentenced him to life imprisonment. According to an order of the Supreme Court on 10 July 2013, Kuldeep Singh Sengar's membership of the assembly is considered to be over.

For the information, let us tell you that Kuldeep Singh Sengar (53) was sentenced to life imprisonment by Tis Hazari court of Delhi on 20 December 2019. The court had said that he should be kept in jail till death. A penalty of 25 lakh was also imposed on Sanger who was expelled from the BJP. Kuldeep Sengar stood with folded hands while delivering the verdict by the court. As soon as the decision came, Sanger burst into tears in the courtroom. During this time, Sanger's sister and daughter were also present in the court.
