Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has given appointment letters to  over 6800 candidates so far, an official statement from the government said on Thursday. The selection was held in 4 phases in the state.

The govt also   said that  in fifth phase, a total of 1,395 candidates, including newly selected 1,272 teachers and 123 assistant teachers, will soon be given appointment letters.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to give appointment letters to 431 candidates on Friday. During the ceremony to be organised at Lok Bhavan at 11 am, appointment letters will be served to the selected candidates in the Agriculture Department by the UP PSC.

Through its many programmes, the government also offers the youth the chance to work for themselves. The chief minister gave some of the appointment letters to the teachers, but the majority of them were delivered at the district level.

On October 23, 2020, the CM distributed appointment letters to 3,317 applicants. On January 19, 2021, appointment letters for a total of 436 chosen candidates(138 assistant teachers and 298 teachers) were distributed as part of the second round of the selection process.

To better the future of the children in the Education Department, Chief Minister distributed online employment letters to 2,846 selected candidates on August 12. There are 179 teachers and 2,667 assistant teachers among them. 210 persons received online appointment letters in the fourth round, including 141 teachers and 69 assistant teachers.
