Applicants need to pay an application fee of ₹400 for the UP Police Constable position. The age criteria specify that male candidates should be between 18 and 22 years old as of July 1, 2001, and July 2, 2005, respectively. For female candidates, the age limit is between 18 and 25 years as of July 2, 1998, and July 1, 2005.
Eligibility requirements include passing the 10th and 12th classes from a recognized Indian board or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government. Additional preferences include possessing an 'O' level Computer certificate from DOEACC/NIELT Society, serving in the Territorial Army for a minimum of two years, or holding a "B" certificate from the National Cadet Corps.
Moreover, certain height criteria apply to candidates based on gender and category. Male candidates from General/OBC and SC categories must have a minimum height of 168 cm, whereas ST applicants have a relaxed requirement of 160 cm. For females, General/OBC/SC applicants need to meet a minimum height of 152 cm, while ST candidates must have a height of at least 147 cm.
