May 14,2016: The Uttar Pradesh Technical Education department on Friday void the first year applied physics examination of government polytechnic institutions in the state after the question paper was leaked on social media(whatsapp)

Before the exam held on the Friday, various pages of the question started rolling on the whatsapp. The paper was to begin at 2 pm but the question paper available, since 8:30 in the morning.

OP Verma (director of the department) said, “It was exactly the same. To ensure the sanctity of the examination, it was decided to cancel the paper. The fresh dates will be announced shortly”.

“A police complaint was lodged in this connection”, Verma added.

Secretary of the department SK Singh has questioned officials, “teachers and administrative staff engaged in conducting the examination to video graph the process right from opening of question paper seal to depositing the answer sheet at the collection point.”

The case has left students angry and they said, “the technical education department should have taken measures to ensure that such things do not take place.”

He said, We will have to wait for the new dates. This will also delay our annual results,” a student”
