The government is constantly taking new steps to stop the momentum of COVID-19. 12 officers have been nominated in 6 cities of Uttar Pradesh for the prevention of COVID-19. There are 12 IAS and PCS officers in this list.

These officers will work with the city officials on planning and implementation to stop the spread of COVID-19. It has names of several major cities of the state. In which Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Kanpur are named. Shiva Sahay Awasthi is the name of Satyendra Kumar for Prayagraj. Prem Ranjan Singh, Raj Kamal Yadav, Arvind Kumar Chauhan for Lucknow and Sunil Kumar Verma, Amit Pal have been appointed for Gorakhpur.

Apart from this, Ankit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Rishirendra Kumar, Amit Kumar Singh will be the officers of Varanasi for Barhaich. They will also send a report of their work at the government level, so that directions can be given on the strategy ahead. On Monday, 4 thousand 197 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in UP. On Sunday, there were 4,687. It was the sixth day in a row, there were four thousand cases in the case of COVID-19. So far, 1 lakh 26 thousand 722 people have been COVID-19 in Uttar Pradesh. In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, 269 new corona infections were confirmed. In Gorakhpur, 255 and 233 in Prayagraj were infected. The same has now been made by the Yogi government to deal with it.
