The Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission (UPHESC) has announced the vacancy for 1150 Assistant Professor posts, on direct recruitment basis.

Name of the posts: Assistant Professor

Eligibility criteria: The candidates interested in applying for the position must possess a post-graduate degree with minimum 55 per cent marks, from a recognized university.

Age limit: The age of the applicant should not exceed 62 years as on July 1, 2016.

The candidates belonging to general and OBC category will have to pay a sum of Rs 2000 towards the application fees.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST category the amount that they need to pay as application fees is Rs 1000.

Last date for the submission of an application is July 14, 2016.
