Lucknow: The new Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel Park being set up in Uttar Pradesh will become a big gift for investors, artisans, weavers and handicraftsmen. Through this, about one lakh people will get employment in various sectors associated with this industry. The park will come up on about 1000 acres of land. The project between Lucknow-Hardoi will provide all the works and facilities related to the textile industry in one place. Yogi government 2.0 has recently sent a proposal related to this to the central government.
It is worth mentioning that under the PM Mitra Yojana, there are plans to build seven such mega parks across the country. The Modi government has announced this scheme in the past few days. Under this scheme, the central government will provide financial assistance to the state government to develop this park. Through this, there will be work from spinning, weaving, dyeing and printing to garment manufacturing in one place. From here it will be marketed. All the facilities being in one place will save the cost of logistics. Along with this, there will be facilities for export.
millions of people are already employed in the state through textile industries, but the whole work is different. Now through this park, the entire infrastructure of the textile industry will be provided with the latest technology. Small and big entrepreneurs investing in this industry will be allowed to set up their own units and will also be facilitated. It will also increase the possibility of foreign direct investment.
