Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the successful applicants on Twitter, writing, "Congratulations to all those who have cleared the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021." My best wishes go out to these young people who are starting their administrative careers at a critical juncture in India's progress, as we commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

"I understand the disappointment of those who did not pass the Civil Services Exam, but I also know that these are exceptional young people who will excel in whatever area they choose and bring honour to India." PM Modi went on to say, "My best wishes to them."

On March 17, the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2021 were released. Those who passed the main exam were invited to an interview round (personality test). From April 5 through May 26, 2022, a personality test was conducted.
