Urdu teacher suspended for calling Rajasthan govt anti-minority

Jaipur: The education department has come into action after Urdu Teachers Association chief Amin Kayamkhani created a ruckus in front of Education Minister Dr BD Kalla during the state-level teachers' felicitation ceremony in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur. The education department has issued orders to suspend Kayamkhani for violation of protocol and indiscipline at the cabinet minister's event.

According to the order issued by the District Education Officer, Amin Kayamkhani has been suspended under the Rajasthan Civil Services Act and changed to Headquarters Elementary Education Banswara. It is noteworthy that during the address of Minister Kalla on the occasion of Teachers' Day on Monday, Amin Kayamkhani, head of the Urdu Teachers Association, demanded the deployment of Urdu teachers in primary education in front of the stage, after which Amin stood in his seat during the program and started shouting about the demand for compliance of CM Ashok Gehlot's budget announcement.

Minister of State Zahida Khan and Minister of State Rajendra Singh Yadav were also present during the ruckus in front of Education Minister Kalla. At the same time, the officials of the School Education Department were also stirred for fear of deteriorating the program and seeing the ruckus growing, the police detained Kayamkhani.
