Bollywood actor Navtej Hundal who essayed the role of a Home Minister in Aditya Dhar's war drama Uri: The Surgical Strike passed away on Monday. The reason for his death is not known yet, but according to reports the actor breathed his last on Monday (April 8) evening in Mumbai.
The unfortunate news was shared by the official Twitter handle of the Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA). "#CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Shri Navtej Hundal. May his soul rest in peace. The cremation is at Oshiwara Crematorium, Relief Road, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari (W) at 11 am," the tweet read.

Navtej is survived by his wife Neelam and two daughters. One of his daughters, Avantika Hundal, is currently seen as Mihika in the popular daily soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, featuring Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi.
The actor has been a part of several other Bollywood films like Khalnayak (1993), Tere Mere Sapne (1996), The Whisperers (2009), Angaaray (1986), as well as television shows such as Bharat Ek Khoj.
