Urmila Matondkar attacks Centre, says it's not time to play politics

New Delhi: Corona outbreak continues across the country. Many states in the country have shifted in a state of lockdown again. The corona is spreading rapidly in Maharashtra as well. Maharashtra's Uddhav government has issued an order to impose partial lockdown and night curfew in several districts of the state. Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar has attacked the Central government. She has also made a special appeal to the Central Government through a tweet.

Urmila Matondkar tweeted, "Corona cases are increasing rapidly in Maharashtra. This is not the time to do politics. I appeal to the Central Government to provide corona vaccine to Maharashtra at the earliest so that people can be saved." Urmila Matondkar's tweet comes at a time when corona cases are on the rise in the state. Hundreds of people are also dying from corona in the state every day.

According to data released by the state health department, 12,090 new cases have been reported in Pune in the last 24 hours, while 70 people have died. Meanwhile, 56,286 new corona cases have been reported and 376 people have died in the state in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of cases in the state has now increased to 32,29,547, while the number of active cases has increased to 5,21,317. The death toll from corona in the state has increased to 57,028. At the same time, 26,49,757 patients have recovered from the disease in the state so far.
