US: Hindu Americans Host Car and Bike Rally to Celebrate Inauguration of Ram Mandir

Hindu Americans, under the leadership of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, America, arranged a small car and bike rally at a nearby Hindu temple named Shri Bhakta Anjaneya Temple in Maryland to honor the imminent Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The impending Pran Pratishtha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was commemorated by Hindu Americans, spearheaded by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, America. They arranged a mini car and bike rally at Maryland's Shri Bhakta Anjaneya Temple, gathering on the street named 'Ayodhya Way' to mark the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

People from diverse backgrounds and age groups, spanning from 10-year-olds to those over 70, hailing from various Indian states, participated in celebrating the temple's inauguration.

Mahendra Sapa, the President of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America's DC chapter, highlighted the historic significance of the Ram Mandir's inauguration. He expressed their plans to organize a momentous celebration in the Washington DC area on January 20, 2024, expecting around 1000 American Hindu families to join. The festivities will include Ram Leela, narratives of Shri Ram, Hindu prayers honoring Shri Ram, and devotional songs dedicated to Shri Ram and his lineage.

Animesh Shukla, another organizer, mentioned a 45-minute portrayal of Lord Ram's life by kids of varying ages in a manner accessible to American children.

Premkumar Swaminathan, a co-organizer and local Tamil Hindu leader, sang a song praising Lord Ram in Tamil. He extended invitations to families for both the January 20 celebration in the US and the actual inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22.

Several other organizers conveyed sentiments in different languages, emphasizing Lord Ram's significance in their lives and his inspiration for Hindu families worldwide. Suresh Hosamane, representing Karnataka, also shared thoughts about Lord Ram.

Krishna Gudipati, the rally organizer, encouraged devotees of Lord Ram to partake in the Ayodhya Mandir celebration for a larger car and bike rally.

Moreover, the consecration of the Ram temple will be observed not only in India but also globally. In America, a week-long program will be conducted coinciding with the temple's inauguration. Representatives from various American temples expressed their joy at being part of this momentous occasion, marking the realization of their long-awaited dream after centuries of anticipation and struggle.

Tejal Shah from America's Hindu Temple Empowerment Council (HMEC) highlighted the fervent dedication among Americans and Canadians towards the Ram Temple. There's profound devotion, and everyone eagerly anticipates the arrival of Lord Shri Ram in their temple. HMEC oversees more than 1,100 Hindu temples in the United States.
