US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has hoped for a peaceful resolution of the situation at the India-China border. Talking about this, he said on Wednesday that the "Communist Party of China (CPC) from Taiwan Strait to the Himalayas is clearly engaged in harassing its neighbours".

Pompeo told reporters at the headquarters of the State Department that "This trend is also evident in the South China Sea". Apart from this, he also said, "We are hoping for a peaceful resolution of the situation on the Indo-China border". The US Secretary of State spoke a lot during this time. He said, "From the Taiwan Strait to the Himalayas And elsewhere, the CPC is clearly engaged in harassing its neighbours".

"The US imposed visa restrictions on Chinese individuals and institutions last week, responsible for CPC imperialism and our allies engaged in illegal energy surveillance in the Philippine and other countries' economic zones." Pompeo is preparing to hold online meetings with foreign ministers of ASEAN and Indo-Pacific countries next week.
