The committee constituted by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) on Sunday mandated the mandatory use of the Aarogu Setu App in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to start the training of players, appointing health officers by the National Sports Federations (NSFs), for all protective measures. To ensure adherence, the locker room is closed, 1.5 and two meters between each other, such recommendations are suggested.

SAI on May 10 formed a six-member committee under the chairmanship of Secretary Rohit Bhardwaj, which has given its 33-page report and mentioned recommendations for starting training in it. This report is yet to be approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The SOP states, "Use of the gym should either be discontinued or limited. As far as exercising with personal equipment is concerned, they should not be given to anyone else. If players use the gym, be aware that they maintain a distance of 1.5–2 meters between themselves and equipment should be approved for use only when players use masks and gloves on the mouth." The SOP is said to educate the players about the methods of protection from Covid-19. The SOP states that players who are in SAI centers should be screened. It is also said that those who come to the center after the start of training should be quarantined till the results of the test are not received.
