Barabanki: A shocking news has come from Uttar Pradesh recently. In fact, a tragic incident took place during Ganesh Visarjan in Barabanki here last Sunday. Five people reportedly drowned in the river while Visarjan the statue in Kalyani river here. A team of police and divers rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and a search has now started for the five. The body of one of the five drowned women is said to have been recovered, though 4 people are missing so far. At the same time, it is being reported that one woman and four men were among those who drowned.

The entire case is said to be from Sadatganj village in Barabanki. In fact, 5 people drowned during Ganesh Visarjan in Kalyani river here. Meanwhile, the flow of water in the river is very fast and due to this, the rescue team is facing a lot of difficulties in search of all. The drowning persons are said to be Narayandhar Pandey, Harishchandra, Nilesh Patwa, Munni Patwa, Dharmendra Kashyap and Suraj Patwa.

On the other hand, Barabanki SP Yamuna Prasad said that a family had kept the Ganesh statue. Some people had reached Kalyani rivers for Ganesh Visarjan then the incident occured. In the meantime, the rest of the people tried to save him, though the five drowned in the river. Local divers and the team have now recovered the body of a woman, but the search is on for the rest.
