Lucknow: A sensational case has come to light from Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. A man who came here in-laws poisoned the food, after which his wife died. Meanwhile, his daughter, sister-in-law and father-in-law are undergoing treatment at the hospital in critical condition. His wife was living with the children in a parental home because she was tortured for dowry.
CO who reached the spot is investigating with the Saifai police force. Giving details in the case, Etawah SSP said that poisoning of food has come to light and the husband is being taken into custody and questioned. According to reports, Sarita of Village Nagla Subhan, under the Saifai police station area of Etawah district, was married to Pramod of Firozabad in 2015. Shortly after the wedding, Pramod started harassing Sarita for dowry. In view of this, 10 months ago, Sarita's family brought her back to her home in Saifai.
Now Pramod came to his in-laws with the intention of taking revenge and mixed any poison in flour, milk, rice, curd and other food items. Wife Sarita lost her life and the critically ill daughter, Sali and his father-in-law have been admitted to the Saifai Trauma Centre where they are undergoing treatment. SSP said police have taken the accused Pramod into custody and investigations are on. According to police, forensic reports of all food items are being prepared and action will be taken.
