Indore: In today's time everyone is troubled by the incidents of crime increasing day by day, every day, such a case comes out that shakes the hearts and minds of people. In fact, the mob here tied a mentally retarded woman to a pole and assaulted her on suspicion of stealing a child. Yes, according to the reports, the woman has four daughters and her husband and in-laws used to exert pressure for a son and this has worsened the mental condition of the woman. Talking about the case, SHO of Vijay Nagar in Indore said, "The woman is undergoing treatment. The woman has been released on bail. We have also registered a case against the woman who assaulted her.''

TI Tehzeeb Qazi says, the woman lived in Khargone with her husband and has four daughters. Her husband and in-laws used to press for her son and this worsened her mental condition. The woman picked up a two-and-a-half-year-old child from the Krishnabagh colony last Monday afternoon and started taking her with her. Meanwhile, the child's elder brother raised an alarm. When this happened, the woman left the child. But later people took out footage from CCTV and went viral on social media groups in the colony calling the child a thief.

The woman was seen in Malviya Nagar in the same saree last Tuesday when people caught hold of her and started beating her. Not only that, she was beaten with tieing in an electric pole, and her hair was scratched. She was then handed over to Vijay Nagar police. The matter is now under investigation.
