Sambhal: A video of youth threatening policemen in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh is going viral on social media. In the viral video, he is threatening the policeman of his government to come. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra shared the video and wrote, "Cut the challan as much as possible, If the government comes┬аthen we will tell, this is fight of 80% of the people of Uttar Pradesh against these 20% mentalities.''

According to media reports, the incident is said to have taken place on the evening of January 13, 2021 (Thursday). The video shows the threatening man as Mohammad Ashraf, a resident of Sambhal. According to the report, the police officer whom he is misbehaving with is Harendra Singh Jat. Harendra Singh Jat is posted as a sub-inspector in the traffic department of Sambhal police.

Ashraf was walking without a helmet while checking at the Chandausi intersection so he was stopped. Ashraf first tried to get a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader to speak to a┬аpoliceman┬аover the phone.┬а Ashraf was furious when the policeman asked him to give the challan for not wearing a helmet.

Meanwhile, Sub Inspector Harendra Singh took off Ashraf's video. The video shows a minor child sitting behind Ashraf. Sambhal police are now taking cognizance of the video and investigating it. On January 14 (Friday), Ashraf made another video of himself accusing the policeman of assaulting himself and snatching his beard after threatening the policeman to come after his government. Ashraf had also written a letter to the Human Rights Commission in this regard. However, Ashraf, who is currently accused, has been arrested.
