Ballia: A man has been shot in a land dispute in the Baria police station area in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. The treatment of the injured is underway in the District hospital. The injured man says he has been shot at the behest of the brother of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Virender Singh Mast. Police have booked three nominated and two unidentified persons in the case. The police have since been engaged in an attempt to arrest the accused.
