Lucknow: A minor girl in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district today shot herself with a machete after an argument with her mother at home. The girl died during treatment. The police, who rushed to the spot after receiving the information, have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police are investigating the case.

According to the police, there was some conversation between the minor girl and the mother while cleaning the house. After which the mother reprimanded the girl and went to vote, in the meantime, the girl shot her in the stomach with a slap in the house. The girl succumbed during treatment. The case pertains to Aliha village under Bisanda police station. Dr Binit Sachan, who treated the girl here, said that the girl was shot in the stomach. She has been brought here dead. The cause of death will be ascertained by conducting a post-mortem.

DSP Banda Rakesh Kumar Singh informed that a girl in Aliha village under Bisanda police station was heard by her mother while cleaning. Then she went to her room. She shot her in the stomach with a knife. She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries on the way. Whatever the family members will give the complaint, according to it, the post-mortem and panchayat nama will be made and action will be taken.
