Jaipur: Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi had offered to Uttar Pradesh government that she wants to run 1000 buses for migrant labourers returning home on foot. Yogi accepted Priyanka's offer and asked him for a list of buses. When the investigation took place, many numbers came out of the tempo, car and ambulance. Congress workers stayed with the buses at the Rajasthan border in Agra for more than 24 hours.
Buses returned after the long 'letter war', but there was no fighting between the government of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The UP government sent buses to its students from Kota and called them home. On behalf of the Rajasthan government, it handed over its buses bill (about 36 lakh rupees) to the UP government, while now the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has claimed to provide free UP to thousands of labourers.
The Rajasthan government has claimed that 70 thousand labourers of UP have been transported to their home state for free. The Rajasthan government claims that about 30 thousand of these labourers have been transported to UP by their bus for free. According to the Rajasthan government's claim, 8 thousand people have been transported to homes in places like Hathras.
