Ghaziabad: A case has been registered against the 8 policemen of the Sahibabad police station in Ghaziabad district, adjacent to Delhi, at the Sahibabad police station on the orders of the fake encounter. A case of the fake encounter has been registered at Sahibabad police station against constables Saurabh Solanki, Shamshad, Lalit Kumar, Sanjay, Sanjeev Gupta, and Nikhil Kumar, including Daroga Shailendra Singh and Salauddin.

On September 4, police had arrested Sanjid, a resident of Pashonda, a cash reward of Rs 25,000, in an encounter in the Koyal Enclave area. Sanjid's brother has registered a case in this case by accusing  2 policemen and 6 soldiers of Sahibabad police station by cheating and shooting in his brother's leg. According to Sanjid's brother Mohsin, the police had registered 2 fake cases in August last year against his brother.

He took his brother to the police on 3 September to surrender, but the police refused to take him into custody and asked to be arrested in the encounter. Fearful of this, on August 4, Sanjid was about to surrender in court when he was arrested on the way by policemen and taken to the cuckoo enclave and shot him in the leg. The case has been registered on the orders of the court. Further investigation will be taken after the investigation of the case.
